The Mamas met during college at American University where they became fast friends. They’ve stayed in touch over the years with long letters and emails, and now with this blog.

 

Country Mama is newly a stay-at-home mom to a toddler boy and a baby boy. She lives in an intentional community on a farm in North Carolina. She is a southern transplant still in culture shock after being raised in Colorado.

City Mama is on the leadership team for a multi-million dollar non-profit. A country girl by birth, she moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago with her high-school sweetheart who works in the music industry. They had their first son in February 2014.
